Facility Admin – Parental Access Configuration Workshop Offsite
Overview
This course is designed to give delegates an opportunity to grant parents and students access rights to Facility ePortal. Delegates will gain the skills to configure ePortal to meet their schools requirements in relaying the relevant information to parents about their children in a format
designed by the school. The workshop will give delegates the opportunity to discuss with the trainer and colleagues the most efficient way to roll out ePortal access to parents.
The course covers the following items:
- Adding parental/contact information.
- Granting student contacts ePortal access rights
- Modifying student contact account
- Disabling functionality in Facility ePortal to prevent undesired information being published
Outcomes
- Understanding the parental/student access rights.
- Understanding of ePortal configuration
- Ability to maintain and set up user accounts for parents and students
- Ability to enable and disable ePortal functionality bitlets
