Facility Scheduler – Part I

An introduction to the areas of the Facility Administration package required to use Facility Scheduler

Overview

This course is designed to give delegates an overview of Facility Scheduler and to introduce the areas of the Facility Administration package required to use Facility Scheduler. This course should be attended by the following:

  • The school timetabler.
  • The member of the staff responsible for maintaining the Facility Administration data.
  • The member of staff who uses the Facility Options module to generate student options if applicable.

The Scheduler I course covers the following items:

  • The scheduling process.
  • Carrying out the End of Year Procedure.
  • Generating teaching groups and curriculum from the student options package.
  • Entering resource data in Facility Administration.
  • Applying restrictions and constraints to resource data in Facility Scheduler.
  • Formulation of curriculum.
  • Creation of teaching groups in Facility Administration from the curriculum.
