Find out more about student fitting with our free online session

An opportunity for H&FE customers to learn more about student fitting with CMIS

What is Student Fitting?
Student fitting in Higher and Further Education is the process of assigning students to particular events within the timetable wherever possible in a clash free manner and in a manner considered appropriate by the timetable organisers. Student fitting takes for granted the assignment of whole group events for modules and class groups and fits the subgroups of either to make a clash free timetable.

What is the purpose of the online WebEx session?
The online session will demonstrate how to automatically assign the students to the sub groups, using modules which are similar to class groups. It will also demonstrate how this function can be completed manually.

Can your colleagues join you?
Yes, you may have as many colleagues as you wish in the same room following the session with you but login details are limited to two per institution.

What is a WebEx and how will you login to take part?
WebEx combines real-time desktop sharing with phone conferencing so that everyone sees the same thing while the leader talks. If you register to attend then a login will be e-mailed to you, as well as a document detailing how to access the session and run a test in advance.

Register below to take part on Tuesday 17th January at 10am

(The session will last approximately 1hour)
