More information about Serco training

Schools benefit from the wealth of experience that our trainers have gained internationally and we can show you how to make the most of your investment in Facility. We have excellent feedback from our customers and we highly recommend our courses so that staff can be confident in using Facility. Training can lead to support networks within the international schools themselves and a greater environment for networking.

Workshops are held at the start of every year dedicated to timetabling and these are ideal to work on your own school data with assistance from experts. We also offer bespoke training days as required.

Your training is specifically designed for International Schools and will take into account all the usual elements such as the International Baccalaureate, the international academic year and other unique requirements for individual schools as required.

Of course what really matters is providing the kind of training that suits our customers and meets their training needs. We receive very positive feedback from attendees on our courses and aim to constantly meet high expectations.

‘Going on a training course can be a daunting prospect. It certainly explains how I felt before I went to the International School of Bonn last week for two days of Report training. Luckily though my experiences proved the opposite.

It helped that the number of delegates was small so it was possible to get to talk to all participants as well as to get time to discuss particular issues on a one-to-one basis with the trainer running the course. Most of all, however, it helped that the training was specifically geared towards the needs of international schools with all manuals recently re-written for that particular market.

Our trainer Allie's approach to the course was lively as well as informative and it was clear that she has great in depth knowledge of Facility too. This gave us the added bonus of being able to touch on subjects other than reports as they came up. Document storage, ePortal and internal assessments were all touched upon briefly at some point during the two days and we were able to get answers to some other questions we'd had.

To come away from a course with material that you have had the opportunity to road test is always valuable. I came away with much more than expected; with new contacts, with the assurance that there is a commitment to specific training for international schools at Serco and with the confidence to put what I had learnt into practice.’
