Enabling learners to link their skill development and ambitions to career choices.
Serco Learning is pleased to announce a partnership to enable integration of CASCAiD’s popular resources Kudos, Launchpad and Careerscape into Serco ePortfolio. CASCAiD is the UK’s leading producer of online careers guidance and information tools.
Serco Learning Managing Director Ric Thompson said:
“We are delighted to be developing a close partnership with CASCAiD and believe that together we can help to raise aspirations and skills of learners. Serco Learning strives to make a difference to the lives of learners; integrating careers information and guidance in to ePortfolio means that young people will be able to access information about prospective careers in the same space they manage their skill development and personal ambitions.”
CASCAiD Chief Executive Andrew Whiteley added, “This new partnership offers schools a centralised online resource where students can explore their future options and plan their education, training and employment journey. We believe that by allowing students to access careers guidance tools from within Serco ePortfolio, they will recognise the importance of developing the skills and knowledge to help them plan their next steps and record their aspirations alongside other work and achievements.” As part of Loughborough University, CASCAiD is committed to proving innovative solutions which deliver high quality support to educational institutions and our partnership with Serco is integral to this. Serco Learning, part of Serco Group plc, provides learning solutions worldwide to Schools, Local Authorities, Further/Higher Education and the NHS.
This partnership brings together three market leaders with Serco Learning, Bit10 and CASCAiD working together to develop a truly innovative ePortfolio product. "We are very excited by the opportunity of integrating CASCAiD with ePortfolio; creating a unique one-stop portal’, said Alan Malik, Managing Director of Bit10. “ePortfolio is focused on tracking pupil progress and CASCAiD on helping them make choices; combined it provides learners with something they will want to use time and time again."
