Fundamental building blocks and skills required to create an effective timetable - 2 day course

Overview

Those who are new to timetabling or taking on the complexities of an existing timetable will find this workshop invaluable as they work through creating a timetable from scratch.
This workshop is also appropriate for those who are experienced timetablers as they face ever increasing challenges to make everything fit into one, smooth, working timetable that will not create disruption.

Our principles of timetabling course will teach you the language and skills of timetabling you need to meet those challenges and help to make the timetable creation and scheduling process run as smoothly as possible.

A series of discussions and workshops will guide you through the process and by the end of the course your ability to construct and effective and workable timetable for your school will be significantly enhanced. You will also gather a range of tools to help you in the future allowing you to feel fully equipped and ready for the undertaking of timetable creation.

This two day workshop is run by an experienced timetabler and is not linked to any particular timetabling software, so will give you the confidence to tackle creating effective timetables in whatever software you use.

Acommodation is not included in the cost but lunch and refreshments will be provided.
